Palazzo Castri 1874 Spa & Garden - Florence

Perfectly clean hotel in a very nice boutique building just off the gorgeous garden as well as city sightseeing. Central location near to the Central market where there was a good choice of restaurants, well furnished room. Besides, very convenient to Via Faenza.

Hotel is situated not far from the railway station (10 minutes by feet). Perfect location. The hotel has a garden. It is situated near park. There ios fantastic view from the windows. There is very good breakfast with Swedish table: croussant, cheese, butter, jam, yoghurt, cereals, pies, tea and coffee. Personnel are very welcome. There is opportunity to keep luggage in a special storage before check-in and after check-out.

There was dust on the furniture. The water from tap smells like it was treated by quartz.

The facial in the spa was really good.

Close top the centre. Beautiful garden, compensating the s,all rooms. It was like an oasis.

Room 124 has the air condinioning not working.

How is it possbile that a hotel with three stars does not have a fridge in its rooms ? The receptionist was arrogant. Showed no attitude for good service.

The spa access was a wonderful bonus, providing great relaxation after a day of sightseeing.

The gym was closed , disappointing since I had planned to use it for my workouts.

I truly enjoyed well decorated and brand-new room in this hotel.

I was there for 9 nights and ate at rooftop restaurant with kind staff. The beds were great and the view to a garden view was delightful.

The garten is beautiful and we liked the cats wandering around in the garden. For our purpose, that is as an exibitor in the Florence Biennale, the Fortessa de Basso was nearby and very easy to visit every day. The hotel is also very close to the inner city and no problem to walk in the vicinity. The room was cosy and the linen and towels were always clean and fresh. The prints (etches) in the foyer are beautiful.

The breakfast was really very boring. A variation of bread or buns would be very nice as well as some fresh fruit. A face lift of the interior as well as furniture, with nice paintings or prints in the rooms would put you on a higher level of accommodation. It will be very nice of some of the personel would be more friendly - a smile costs nothing but are so important.

The hotel's charming garden and pool provided a peaceful retreat. The accessibility of the lobby and dining areas made navigating the hotel comfortable for seniors like myself.

Good hotel with very big rooms. It is located in the city centre, just 6 minutes to the train station by foot. Good price for a 3 stars hotel.

The equipement in the room is a little old: the air-conditioning works loudly, the tv is too old.

I wasn't ready for this!

As I stepped inside, the chaos of the city vanished, replaced by a serene garden oasis and a fine view of the Duomo. My room was beautifully quiet, a perfect retreat after exploring Florence. A hidden gem in the heart of it all!

The room was cold and heating was not possible.

we had an enjoyable romantic escape with wide ranging and plentiful breakfast. we thoroughly enjoyed the room which was great quality and brand-new. the meal served at the rooftop restaurant was tasty.

Shame the bathroom was a bit cramped.

I adored the charming garden and nothing noisy. The layout made it easy for me to navigate around, and I felt right at home amidst the beautiful decor and friendly ambiance.

More shaded seating by the pool would be nice.
